This is really not new. Everyone can attest to what changes the power of belief can do! So why not believe in the best for us all and entertain the possabilities! We have seen what focusing our energies in a negative fearful way has gotten us into. A big hissy fit! So why not just try entertaining all the possabilities and keep a positive outlook. You really won't know what happens until it happens, will you?! It just might turn out for the best! Consider Y2K, the red scare, war of the worlds. All a major hype and nobody had the sense to feel a little foolish after working themselves up into a hissy fit and still scares the stuffing out of people who went through it who are alive today! So try being optamistic! At least it will make the present more enjoyable! Mother Earth has been making changes for billions of years! This is really not new. It is good to trust the Creator and it is good to prepare. It is good to find reassurance and knowledge in the Holy Scriptures. But we must not read these out of context and without the parts of scripture that speak of other things, such as the Creator's desire that His/Her Will be done on earth as in heaven, that there will be a new earth and a new heaven, that we will live in peace, beating swords into ploughshares. As for myself, I am a believer in Bahá'u'lláh, the Glory of God, He is the return that Krishna said happens when humanity is in dire need, He is the return of Christ (the One we were to watch for Who would come as a thief in the night and the sheep know His voice), He is the Maitreya Buddha, He is the Great Announcement and return of Christ in Islam, He is the Universal Manifestation Who came to unify the planet. He has given us a plan for uniting the planet and bringing world peace. Over six million Bahá'is live in over 165 nations, probably the most diverse group of people acting in unified action on the planet, building the Kingdom on earth. I agree that they were not as clever as human but human has not cared about nature or universe for his progress and we have to pay for it. In my country, India , what ever the world organisations may do the help will not reach the citizens of India. So we can only wait for the disaster. as we clean our home after a particular period, universe has ordered earth to clean her self. But according to the sins human has done he will not be given such a simple end.
